Our Mission

We empower and equip Spanish‑speaking children and families for success in school and life.

We are dedicated to building language skills, strengthening families, and creating pathways to economic opportunity, all while honoring the cultures and languages our community brings.

OUR THREE PILLARS

Charlotte Bilingual Learning Center has been serving the Charlotte community for almost three decades. 

Our work really happens through three interconnected areas.

What makes our model special is that we don’t only serve the child. We believe that when you invest in the child, the family, and the educator at the same time, you can create a much deeper and longer-lasting impact.

A LETTER FROM OUR CEO

“I am honored to lead Charlotte Bilingual Learning Center and proud of the incredible impact we have made together over the past two and a half years. Every day, I have the privilege of witnessing the dedication of our staff, board members, families, supporters, and community partners who make our mission possible.
 
As of July 1, 2026, we officially became Charlotte Bilingual Learning Center, a name that reflects the growth of our organization and the breadth of our work. What began in 1999 as a small preschool serving 15 children has grown into an organization that now serves more than 800 children and families annually through our Preschool Program, Family Services, and Workforce Development
initiatives.
 
Together, we are strengthening educational and economic opportunities for Spanish-speaking children and families, helping children enter kindergarten ready to learn, empowering parents through education and workforce pathways, and building a more equitable community where language is not a barrier to opportunity.
 
I am grateful to be part of such an extraordinary community and excited for all that lies ahead as we continue creating brighter futures for generations to come.”
